Important Information on the Paywall Design to Replicate

  • For round one, you are tasked with replicating the paywall design screens linked here. 

  • This includes creating a functional toggle for the annual and monthly plan screens. See the TWO reference images as part of this paywall. 

  •  Both the 'monthly' and 'annual' plan tabs must be completed and shown in the video.

  • For the purpose of replicating the example paywall (which features a free trial) accurately, you can hard-code the paywall to assume the user is trial eligible

Frequently Asked Questions 

  1. Can I preload assets (e.g., images, fonts) into the editor before the recorded build, or must I import them during the build?
    • Assets can be pre-loaded 
  2. Is pasting in the text copy permitted or do I have to type it in manually?
    • Pasting in the text is permitted 
  3. Are Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS) techniques or custom automation scripts, macros permitted during the build?
    • This is not permitted. 

How to access RevenueCat Paywalls 

If you already have a RevenueCat account set up
  1. Log in to your account at https://app.revenuecat.com/login
  2. Navigate to "Paywalls" in the navigation menu. 
  3. Click the "+New Paywall" button 
  4. Under "Create your own paywall" select "Start from scratch" 
If you do not yet have a RevenueCat account

While you'll have to create an account for the purposes of drafting your submission, you do not have to attach a credit card or an actual app. Follow the instructions below to get access to the RevenueCat Paywalls where you can build your paywall submission.

  1. Visit: https://app.revenuecat.com/signup
  2. Create an account 
  3. When prompted to add your credit card click "add later"
  4. Submit the short onboarding survey
  5. On the "Let's get started screen" click "Web". This is the quickest onboarding path to get you access to RevenueCat Paywalls.
  6. Create a project name
  7. Navigate to Paywalls in the navigation bar. 
  8. Click "Start from scratch"
  9. Begin building your paywall.
