Think you can build a paywall faster and more precisely than anyone else in the world? Step into the ring, champ.
RevenueCat's World Paywall Speed Building Championships is a gloriously over-the-top global developer competition where speed meets pixel-perfect precision. It's part hackathon, part WWE main event, part e-sports fever dream — and yes, we're absolutely serious (but also very much not).
You’ll be challenged to recreate real-world paywalls using RevenueCat Paywalls. (This is a solo mission, so you can ignore the DevPost stuff about teammates etc). We've rebuilt our paywall builder from the ground up to give you total creative control over your paywall’s look and feel.
The fastest, most accurate builders will rise through the ranks — and the top five will come to New York City all expenses paid to compete live on stage at App Growth Annual on October 14, for a chance to win $5,000 USD. Our champions will also be honoured on the big screen with a Times Square Billboard. Yes, really.
There will be hype. There will be furious clicking. There will be a custom-designed championship belt.

Screen record yourself recreating the provided paywall design as quickly and as accurately as possible using the latest version of RevenueCat Paywalls. Find the supporting graphics/assets here.
- See "Resources" for the specified paywall design you will be required to build and associated visual assets to use in recreating the paywall.

Record your entire screen as you build the paywall from "Start from scratch" to done.

The timer starts from when you make your first click on the paywall builder UI. End your video submission at the point at which you would like us to consider your paywall build complete. Both the 'monthly' and 'annual' plan tabs must be completed and shown in the video. We will measure time from first click to video end.

You do not need to attach actual product offerings or links to the Paywall. The paywall should be designed and executed in such a way that it would function if properly connected to product offerings and links.
- You do not need to actually publish your paywall. Just show us the paywall design as completed in the RevenueCat Paywall UI.

The top 5 finalists are sent to New York City to battle live on stage at App Growth Annual 2025, where one winner will take home the cash, the belt and the glory.
You'll be entering as a solo participant. See the contest rules and regs for more specific judging details on all rounds.

We'll provide you with round-trip flights and 2 nights accommodation to New York City where you'll attend RevenueCat’s App Growth Annual Conference on October 14, 2025. You'll also be featured on a billboard in Times Square!

Judging Criteria

Speed
Time taken to build the paywall from blank to done. -
Accuracy
Visual and behavioral fidelity to the reference paywall. Only submissions that achieve at least 90% accuracy will be eligible for final ranking. Among qualifying entries, the fastest build wins. Among qualifying builds, Speed determines the winner.
